Q and A with Rachel

Q) Can you describe your trip to Haiti?

A) My trip to haiti was amazing, and a life changing experience and I would like to thank my dad for making this trip possible for me

Q) What are your responsibilities?

A) My responsibilities while I was in Haiti were to help the sisters at the APF center in Fondwa with the orphanage kids and and doing construction work such as building houses for those that were effected in the earthquake in 2010.

Q) Was this your first time doing a trip like this?

A) Yes, this was my first mission trip ever

Q) What made you want to do this?

A) My grandma who passed away in 2009 of breast cancer always participated in them and with being 18 I finally decided it was time and that I was old enough to go on one.

Q) What do you like best about working at Scotty's?

A) Something I like the most about working at Scotty's is how close we all are as a company. My fellow co-workers are almost like family and I absolutely love that because I've never experienced that at other jobs that I have had.

Q) What are your future plans?

A) I plan on working at Scotty's throughout college. I'm attending Ivy Tech this year and next year transferring to IUPUI to study business management and hopefully become a human resource manager later on.

Q) Other than volunteering, what do you like to do in your spare time?

A) In my free time besides working at Scotty's and volunteering I like to spend time with my family, mainly my cousins Josh, Faith, and Mallory.
