What do you get when you combine a 4k race, 4 beer stops along
the way and crazy costumes? The Jam Active Tap 'n Run, which will
be held this Saturday in Indianapolis at 5pm. Scotty's Thr3e Wise
Men Brewing Company is proud to be a sponsor and the official
location of the start of the race.
"We have now hosted 3 Brew Mile races here at Thr3e Wise Men and
have seen how much fun these types of events can be," said Chris
Parisi, General Manager of Thr3e Wise Men. "Not only do they help
promote running and fitness, but they allow participants to sample
local beers."

Indianapolis is just one of the stops in this year's Tap 'n Run
tour. Cincinnati, Louisville, St. Louis, Nashville, Columbus,
Milwaukee all will be holding races this summer. The cost of the
race is $42. All participants will receive a Finisher's medal (that
doubles as a bottle opener), the equivalent of over two beers and a
Tap 'N' Run t-shirt.
The promoters of Tap 'n Run describe the race like this, "it is
about friends and teams, hilarious costumes and 'damn, why didn't
we think of that', responsible entertainment and
leave-the-kids-at-home-and-let-off-some-steam. It is about drinking
beer and having a ridiculously good time."
Tap 'N Run Promo
The Tap 'n Run not only is fun but it also wants to help out the
community. This year's the event has partnered with Easter Seals
Crossroads. A portion of the proceeds from the race will be donated
this organization.
"We like to be part of events that give back to local
communities," said Scott Wise, President and CEO of a Pots and Pans
Production. "I love to run and, of cour, I love beer so it seems
like the perfect fit for us to partner up."
Awards will be given out for people with the fastest times as is
the tradition in most races, but some unique prizes are given out
as well. Best 'stache, we wear short shorts, best belcher and most
original team concept are just some of the off the wall prizes.

Scotty's will also be offering an award to each person who is
participating in the event. Employees will be handing out coupons
for a FREE order of dill chips or a free empty growler that can be
filled at Thr3e Wise Men or starting June 18th at any
Brewhouse locations, after the race to runners as they cross the
finish line.
